Well, this week's looking like it's turning to shit. My brother's friend shot himself last night, and even though I didn't know him that well, I always got on really well with him. He was great. You'll be missed, Andy. And tomorrow I have to go to mum's to deal with her horse being out down. Toki, who we've had for probably 11 or so years. Feeling a litle overwhelmed tonight. Some lady just knocked on my door and asked if I had lost a turtle. Hahahaha. She found a turtle crossing the road this morning, and is trying to find out where he came from. Surreal. |

My cat, special creature that he is, was just outside. I was sitting outside with him, and he suddenly became fascinated with a few slugs that were crawling around the edge of the garden. So he stalked them. Veeeery slooooowly. Then he got bored, and rolled on the concrete. After which he walked into the garden, forgetting all about aforementioned slugs, and standing on them. He got a little weirded out when one got STUCK TO HIS FOOT, and shook his paw around frantically. When the slug flew off his foot to land on the concrete, he promptly chased it, and then...rolled on it. Now he's aleep in the middle of my freshly planted garden. *sigh* Current Mood: amused |
